National Park Week

Grand Teton National Park

They’re considered “Americas best idea,” and in all we maintain fifty-nine National Parks in the U.S. Each park offers its own unique and exciting spectacles and opportunity for adventure and exploration in wild terrain that’s been kept as it always has been. From shining sea, deep cavern, to soaring summit there’s a park for every backcountry athlete's particular taste.

In case you haven’t already heard, this week, from April 16th until the 24th is National Park week, which means all entrance fees will be waived making Americas best idea even more enticing and accessible. In many cases some fees within parks will be waived as well. What better way to celebrate the National Park Service’s 100th birthday than starting out the season with a trip to one, or a few, of the backcountry capitals near you.

This time of year can be hectic, but it’s also one of the most refreshing with the sprouting of new life awakening form dormancy. Our parks are the pinnacles of exploration and immersion into the natural world. They’re where bustling through concrete jungles on various time schedules are replaced with adventure along a dirt path in ever-changing vistas.

Did I mention it’s free?

Go; take advantage of this incentive and escape into the wilderness and reap all of its benefits! We can all agree, it really is a good idea!

Enjoy!
